The terrain intelligence behind 92,547+ mapped acres:
See everything the land is hiding.
The full read, shared in one workspace.
Stop making land decisions in the dark, or alone. Start reading terrain like someone who can see what the water knows, and put that view in front of everyone who has a say.
LandScope V2 hands you every terrain layer already analyzed: where water flows, where it pools, and where pads and access start to make sense. On top of that, it gives your team a shared workspace on the map itself: measure, sketch, comment, share, and print in a single browser tab. All of it is drawn from the same LiDAR that engineers, landscape architects, and environmental consultants stake their work on.

LandScope V1 is trusted by:

92,547+ acres mapped, and counting.
That’s the land LandScope has read so far, one project at a time, on the same national LiDAR programs engineers and governments trust. The data reaches whole countries. Here’s what reading it looks like against the old way:
What one planning firm spent, with a whole team on it, for terrain analysis V2 outperforms.
How long their in-house team needed to produce it.
How long V2 takes, on any property with LiDAR coverage.
A serious planning firm, a dedicated team, five thousand dollars, weeks of work. And still less than what LandScope V2 reads off the same land in minutes.
COVERAGE
Where the data is ready today.
V2 sources LiDAR automatically from national programs. If your land is on this list, the read is minutes away:
A coverage map inside the app shows exactly what’s available on your land before you commit to anything. New sources come online regularly.
If it isn’t for you, you’ve lost nothing. V2 opens with free 7-day full-resolution demos on your own land, up to three a month, no card, no commitment. Waitlist members also get a coupon code for their first map, for when the demos make the decision easy.
The first-map coupon is for the waitlist only.
“The hydrology features are pure gold. Plus, the slope feature helps us meet defensible space requirements in wildfire-prone regions.”
“I formed an initial list of price negotiation points before even seeing the site in person. It enabled a depth of insight impossible to do through site visits alone.”
“I can produce initial assessments in half the time and present clients with a foundation that feels like having a lifetime of information at their fingertips.”
“We didn't feel ready to spend thousands on a wetland delineation for land we might not buy. LandScope bridged the gap and cut out the stress of feeling stuck.”
“This multi-layered analysis revealed vulnerability clusters impossible to identify through conventional methods, significantly strengthening the overall rigor of my dissertation.”

HOW IT WORKS
Raw land → clear decisions in 5 easy steps.
Step 01
Draw a line around your land and skip weeks of data hunting.
The old way is digging through portals, downloading tiles, and fighting GIS just to get a usable elevation model. With LandScope, you just trace your boundary.
LandScope automatically finds the highest‑resolution digital elevation model it can for your site, processes it for you, and turns it into a plain‑language picture of the terrain: gentle versus steep ground, sun and shade patterns, ridges, hollows, and valleys, plus a one‑line verdict like “remarkably flat” or “extremely rugged” so you know what is realistically buildable and how much usable land you actually have.
Step 02
See what the water knows before you move a shovel.
Once the data is sourced and processed, LandScope shows where rain actually goes on this land: every downhill path, where it concentrates, and where it tends to linger. It even accounts for water that starts uphill of your parcel, so you are not surprised by runoff from a neighbor.
In seconds, you see obvious risks and opportunities around water before you buy, build, or dig.
Step 03
Turn the map into your planning table.
The map becomes your workspace. Pin gates, pads, springs, and hazards. Trace driveways and trails and see real distances and elevation profiles. Outline pads, paddocks, or planting blocks and get true area and slope numbers. Highlight key contours or buffer streams and access routes so setbacks and corridors are visible, not theoretical.
In a couple of clicks, without downloading or processing data yourself, you are staring at one view where the land’s opportunities, risks, strengths, and weak spots all jump out at you.
Step 04
Get every decision maker looking at the same land, the same way.
Comments, photos, and notes live at exact spots on the map so decisions happen on the land, not in email chains. Collaborators get full tools. Clients get a free view‑only seat where they can explore in 3D, sketch, and print without breaking anything.
Everyone sees the same read of the land, which makes conversations faster and cuts down on misunderstandings.
Step 05
Push one button and take that terrain intelligence to CAD, GPS, and the field.
When it is time to move, you print true‑scale sheets from your browser, export contours and drawings to CAD or GIS, or send routes to a GPS app and walk them on the actual ground.
The same terrain intelligence follows you from screen, to table, to field, and plugs into the tools your projects already depend on.

LANDSCOPE VERSION 2
1 mapping platform. 30+ terrain layers. Thousands of profound insights.
Here’s a small sample of what you’ll be able to do with LandScope V2:
The full hydrology sequence has already run on your parcel by the time the map opens. You get to see where the water goes, without running any complex GIS algorithms, navigating a single government portal, or dealing with projection issues.
Every shape you draw returns 2 acreages: flat-map area and true 3D surface area. Steep ground holds more real surface than the deed says, and your fencing, seed, and mulch orders finally match it.
What the county’s 5 ft contours are hiding on your site: everything smaller than 5 ft. The bench, the old ditch, the low spot behind the house pad. LandScope draws down to 1 ft, from LiDAR.
What never shows on the public map: the channel, 2 ft wide and a few inches deep, that decides where your driveway washes out. It’s sitting in your LiDAR right now.
A flat parcel is the safe parcel, right? Wrong. Flat is where water sits. The wetness layer sorts your flats into the ones that drain and the ones that hold.
Why land that cleared every map can still flood: the official layers are drawn from many inputs, and terrain is the one you can check yourself. "I am NOT in a flood zone. The first time it rained when we moved in, my entire yard flooded up to my front door."
When you get home from the site walk, import the GPX track. Where you naturally walked is the terrain’s opinion. Design with it.
How much of this parcel can you actually build on? Draw a shape around the question and the answer comes back in seconds: slope classes with verdicts, wet ground, landforms, true surface area.
If a parcel is going to die, then let it die in an afternoon. One investor’s screening stack said dry ("swampy despite the systems we use saying it wasn’t"). The terrain read happens before earnest money: slope shares, wetness, drainage crossings, a printable report.
The quickest way to size a pond, check a well-to-septic separation, or plan a sprinkler throw: drag a circle until the acreage reads right.
10 landforms, auto-named across your whole property: ridge, spur, shoulder, hollow, footslope, valley, pit. The vocabulary of land, applied to yours.
From a browser tab to CAD in one click: 1 ft contours in monochrome at drawing weight, exported to DXF at true UTM coordinates. Opens in AutoCAD as clean linework.
How to test a building site without a shovel: drop a to-scale barn rectangle, rotate it to the contours, duplicate it for option B. Each edge labels its own azimuth for the builder.
Caution: the wettest 5% of your land is a short, specific list of places. The percentile layers rank them. Walk those exact spots in boots before you site anything.
The truth about waiting for rain: the advice is honest, and it costs a year per lesson. One family’s pond hit a ground surprise: $21,195 and 4 years of failed fixes. The water story is already in your LiDAR.
The best seat you can hand a client is free: they fly the site in 3D, leave comments, sketch their own ideas onto the terrain, and print. No editing, no downloads, no way to break your work.
Surprising what your land remembers: old roadbeds, filled ditches, a previous owner’s terraces. LiDAR hillshade reads the ground under the vegetation, and cuts made decades ago still cast shadows.
Are you supposed to just know what a wetness index is? No. Every layer carries a "?" that explains it in plain language, so the map teaches you while you read it.
Your boundary doesn’t stop water, so neither do we: drainage is computed beyond your parcel lines, and the flow arriving from uphill neighbors is already counted.
$2,800: what one designer was quoted for a topo map of a single site. LandScope reads your site free for 7 days at full LiDAR resolution, and $449 keeps it forever.
